1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of the Myron app (iOS, watchOS) and the web access at app.myron.app. The provider is Markus Schwed, Tempelstraße 7, 66773 Schwalbach, Germany (markus@myron.app).

2. Description of services

Myron is an app for nutrition and training tracking. The core feature set (including food search, barcode scanning, workout journal, Apple Watch companion, analytics) is free. The AI-powered features — voice and photo capture of meals, AI nutrition estimates, the Myron coach with weekly review, recommendations and photo check-ins — are part of the paid "Myron Coach" subscription.

3. Account

Use requires an account (Sign in with Apple). You are responsible for the security of your access. An account can be deleted in the app at any time (Account → Data → Delete account); this irrevocably removes all personal data.

4. "Myron Coach" subscription

  • Offered as a monthly subscription (€9.99/month) or annual subscription (€59.99/year), each with a 14-day free trial for new customers. Price changes are announced in advance via the App Store.
  • The purchase is handled through your Apple account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in the App Store settings of your Apple account; the charge occurs within 24 hours before the new period begins.
  • An unused trial period lapses upon purchase. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid period; until then the coach features remain available.
  • Refunds are governed by the terms of the App Store (Apple Media Services); refund requests are made through Apple.

5. Right of withdrawal

For purchases through the App Store, Apple, as the contractual partner for payment, also handles the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content. Details are set out in the Apple Media Services terms.

6. No medical advice

Myron helps you track and provides automated analytics and training suggestions. The content is not medical, therapeutic or dietetic advice and does not replace consulting a doctor. Clarify health questions — especially with pre-existing conditions, pregnancy or eating disorders — with medical professionals before changing your nutrition or training.

7. Acceptable use

The account is intended for personal use. Prohibited in particular are abusive or automated use of the AI features, interference with the operation of the service, and posting unlawful content (e.g. in food names or photos). In case of serious violations we may restrict features or suspend the account.

8. Availability and changes

We continuously develop Myron and strive for high availability, but do not owe uninterrupted usability. Features may change; we will not materially reduce the contractual core of the subscription (section 2) during a paid period.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and damages arising from injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

We will announce changes to these terms at least four weeks before they take effect, in the app or by notification. If you do not object before they take effect, the amended terms apply; the announcement will point out your right to object and the consequences.

11. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; the statutory consumer-protection provisions of your habitual place of residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder remains effective.
