Side Bridge
How to perform it
- Lie on your side with your legs straight and stacked, your forearm on the floor and your elbow directly under your shoulder.
- Brace your abs and lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from your ankles to your head. Only your forearm and the edge of your foot touch the floor. This is the position you hold.
- Keep your hips high and square, without letting them tilt forward or sag. Breathe calmly and hold the position for as long as you can. Tip: to make it harder, raise your top leg or your top arm.
- Lower your hips to the floor under control, then switch sides.
